adidas Originals gives us a sneak peek at what we can expect to see from their WMNS line next year, starting off with this new Tech Super. Three different silhouettes were given a makeover including the adidas Gazelle Vintage, adidas ZX700 and adidas Basket Profi, each with premium uppers and enhanced design. With the Wood Wood stamp also thrown in the mix these can effectively have the ladies draped in black, white or brown when they release on December 1st. Ahead of the clash between the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight, adidas Basketball introduced another alternative colorway in Derrick Rose‘s D Rose 3 line-up. Billed as “’90s Throwback”, the loud green and turquoise appointments are references to the fashion and styles back during the 1990s. A swath of fluorescent green nubuck, embossed in a unique wave pattern, and blue stitching dominate the shoe’s upper. The same fluorescent green colorway covers the midsole as well, though there are hints of yellow speckles to accentuate the design further. Like elements on last month’s “Chicago Fire Department,” adidas designers complete this new edition with “South Side” and “773″ graffiti tags along the left and right tongues’ inner linings, both references to Rose’s hometown neighborhood and area code. Retailing for $160, the adidas D Rose 3 “’90s Throwback” will be available starting next Friday, November 9th. UK-based Size? has just dropped another exclusive shoe. This time around, they’ve come together with adidas Originals to create this pair of adidas Originals Tobacco. The low-profile design sports a tobasco spiced tan colorway constructed from leather, while black works the tongue branding. Anchoring the look is a gum sole. The shoe is now available over at Size?. What are your thoughts on this simple design? Packer Shoes has taken their stab at the adidas Conductor Hi to serve the purpose of reminding the world of the days when the Brooklyn Nets were still Garden State residents and played in the Northern New Jersey Teaneck Armory. The shoe pays homage to the ABA team’s connection to the military facility with a camouflage lining as well as hits on the outsole while the tongue tag lets everybody know that the team plays from ’67 -’68. Stay tuned for release information as this is certain to be an adidas release you don’t want to miss. Size? has put together something pretty special to commemorate the opening of their Parisian store. The retailer has teamed up with adidas for a very limited edition colorway of the aptly named adidas Originals Paris and for the word ‘limited’ is not being misused. Only 20 pair of the blue and red shoe will be made available on November 3rd and they will also come with special edition 1970′s packaging and a dust bag. This is the first in a string of releases that will be available at the Les Halles location so stay tuned and we will keep you updated. When you see Y-3 you should think luxury and here is an example of why. The adidas Y-3 LA Trainer may have a name that implies a brisk mile run is in order however one look at these and you will realize they have no place inside a gym. These are fully functional athletic shoes but with a floral print upper and leather accents these definitely more about form than function. No word on just how limited these are but as you know Y-3 retailers are limited in general so be on the lookout for them starting now. United Arrows keeps things neutral with their latest collaborative effort. By immersing the adidas Superstar in cream leather and tan suede the clean colorways come across as a striking silhouette with rope laces and an embossed nubuck tongue tag. These won’t be at your local adidas dealer so if you are interested we’d suggest running over to the United Arrows site. Source United Arrows We originally previewed the adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 “Lakers” back at the beginning of the month, and today we’re getting another look at the design as we see it land at adidas shops overseas including RMK. The shoe takes on an all purple upper, which is accented with yellow on the midsole and shoe laces. As you know, the franchise has had its run of NBA Finals trophies, which is commemorated with a gold plated heel cup. Finishing off the look are hits of white on the outsole and heel branding. The inner sole even sports a graphic that reads “The city keeps dreaming.” |
